Our Team

Karen was born and raised in Bemidji on a small family farm. She received her AA degree in Anoka graduating in 1982. She has spent most of her career working with children in the Bemidji public schools. Karen recently retired from the school district to work for Choice Therapy. She enjoys hanging out at the lake with her husband and their dog and spending time with her children and grand children. Karen has had the opportunity of working in long term care since coming to Choice and enjoys interacting with adults, helping them reach their goals and listening to their interesting stories of their lives.
