National OT Month: Gardening Tip

Q.  What can I plant to make my garden beautiful, but still reduce the amount of maintenance I need to do?

A. Before planting, it is important to consider how much maintenance your garden will need over the summer. Use native plants and plant groundcovers to keep weeds down. Perennials require less work than planting annuals year after year. Also, think of how big each plant will get and account for the amount of pruning that each one will require.
