Kate Repko – Occupational Therapist
Kate was born in London, England and spent her early childhood moving from Army base to Army base with her military family before settling in California’s Bay Area for 36 years. She earned her Master’s degree of Occupational Therapy in 2006 from Samuel Merritt University. For the first five years of her OT career, Kate worked at a long-term acute care hospital with medically complex patients and those who had suffered a traumatic brain injury. She then transitioned to working in skilled nursing facilities, working both with patients who need short-term rehabilitation and those who reside there permanently. Kate has found her passion working with the geriatric community.
Kate and her husband John moved to Bemidji in 2016 and have found their forever home on a lake just north of town. They both are avid BSU Hockey fans, and Kate also enjoys spending time with their three English Setter rescue dogs Pippa, Chiefie, and Major.
