Dry needling uses a very thin filament needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate “trigger points” and connective tissues. Dry needling is an effective way to decrease pain and tension, improve range of motion, increase blood flow, and restore function to muscles. For most patients, the insertion of the needle is not felt at all.
Not all physical therapists are certified to perform dry needling. A physical therapist must pass an extensive written and practical exam before becoming certified.
Choice Therapy’s Brady Miller is certified in dry needling and is accepting new patients. Give our office a call today at 218-444-8280 to set up a free consultation to see if dry needling can help you.
