Therapist of the Week: Roberta Erickson (Occupational Therapist)

Roberta is a native of Grand Rapids MN and a ’75 graduate of OT at UND.  Her early career included LTC facilities in Detroit Lakes, Grand Marais, North Minneapolis, and Belle Plaine.  Roberta spent 26 years at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, MN., beginning in acute inpatient and home care evolving into outpatient ortho, neuro, industrial rehab and eventually hand therapy following Hand Certification in 2012.

In November of 2014, Roberta, her husband Jeff, and chocolate lab Bogart, left their Henderson home in the Minnesota River Valley to “retire’ at their northern getaway east of Northome where they hope to spend more time hunting, fishing, gardening and doing numerous DYI projects around their home.  She has 2 married children, a grand daughter and 2 elderly parents filling the rest of their time.
