Occupational Therapist

Kaisa Syväoja was born and raised in Bemidji. Kaisa earned a B.S. in Psychology from Bemidji State University and a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Creighton University. Her final clinical rotation was in chronic pain management and program development. She has completed advanced training in Postural Restoration with the Postural Restoration Institute in Lincoln, NE. She commonly addresses chronic pain, and visual integration as it relates to pain perception and posture. She also commonly addresses concussions and hypermobility related issues. As an Occupational Therapist, Kaisa assists patients with addressing areas of daily living that have been impacted by pain. She is the Northwest District and Chronic Pain Special Interest Group co-chair for the Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association.
